Beyond the Film

Outreach is planned to make Journey to Peace available by schools, social service groups, interfaith organizations and in workplace training. The Hague Appeal for Peace is planning to include the documentary and its ancillary materials in its outreach packet, Learning to Abolish War: Teaching Toward a Culture of Peace. The American Friends Service Committee (Quakers) is serving as one of our outreach distributors and will make the documentary available in their curriculum.

The producers are partnering with a successful outreach consultancy known for its partnerships with Academy award-nominated documentaries, to facilitate Journey to Peace outreach. The initial plan includes a focused outreach to three major cities, three smaller cities and a local grass roots initiative.

Through the documentary, the Gatherings, and the outreach initiatives, Journey to Peace will engage diverse audiences in substantive and productive dialogue around issues of peace, conflict, and nonviolent means and practices for resolution.
